How to Install TEC1-12706?

Required basic Accessories for Air Cooling Mode:

  • 1st Step – Check Cold side and Hot side with 12V 2~5Amp battery or by default COLD side is mark “TEC1-12706” & Blank is HOT side
  • 2nd Step – USED Thermal Pasted on HOT side and Stick on central of Heat sink.
  • 3rd Step – Install Fan with Heat sink as per your design.
  • 4th step – RED wires and Black wires of TEC1-12706 & Fan joint together
  • 5th Step – Joint RED wires in +V SMPS and Black wires –V SMPS
  • 6th Step – Start SMPS for 40~60 second to check cooling on COLD side.
  • 7th Step – if you are getting cooling on COLD side then you can continue with your LOAD.

Noted:

  • Need to check your Heat sink temperature in 5 minutes interval is not getting hot then room temperature.
  • If Heat sink temperature rise 5 ~10 degree in 5 ~15 minutes then you needs to replace Fan or Heat sink with Good quality otherwise your cold size will start getting hot due to DTmax different.
  • You can get high Speed Fan or Change Fan Direction proper way so it can reduce maximum heat from Heat sink.
  • OR Get BIG Heat sink size(200 x 105 x 40mm) and try again.
  • OR If you are not getting your target temperature then goes with DT max 62 ~ 72 degree modules to reduce COLD side temperature.
  • Still you are not getting your Target Temperature then USED Water Cooling System to reduce temperature around 5~-10 degree.

How to Install TEC1-12706 using water cooling system?

Required basic Accessories for water Cooling Mode:

Make as above connection

  • Aluminum Heat Exchange Radiator
  • Faster
  • Fan (Size: 40 x 40mm if Size used or Size: 80 x 80 back size)
  • Connected as following image
  • Power Supply 12VDC, 5Amp
  • Water Jar
  • Submersible pump
  • Piping for internal connecting
  • Temperature meter
  • Make connection as per below image
  • POWER ON after making as per image connection
  • Few Minutes after temperature will start falling down to negative level as per below image.
